Temporary Health & Safety Policies

To protect guests & staff, and to facilitate contact tracing in the event of illness.

Federal Guidelines regarding hygiene and social distancing will be adhered to by innkeepers and should be followed by all guests…  Travel safety is a shared responsibility.”

  • Availability/Occupancy
    • Reservations strongly encouraged (limited walk-in availability)
    • Online reservation or credit card authorization form is required 
    • All payments will be run prior to arrival
    • Maximum of 2 people per room
    • Guests may not have visitors on premises (inside or out)
    • Check-in 4pm-9pm/Check-out at 11 am, no late check-out
  • Safety/Sanitation
    • Social Distancing is required
    • Face masks must be worn in areas where 6ft distancing is not possible (hallways,coming and going from common areas) **Guests must bring their own face coverings as innkeepers are unable to provide these except for staff
    • Hand-washing supplies are provided and maintained
    • Paper, cleaning and EPA approved disinfectants are readily available and in use
    • Staff  routinely cleans/disinfects all frequently touched surfaces 
    • Fresh air ventilation is increased throughout building
    • If you have any of the following symptoms please stay at home:
      • Temperature above 99°or Chills
      • Cough or Breathing issues
      • Muscle pain or Headache
      • Sore throat or Loss of taste/smell
      • Gastrointestinal issues
  • Amenities
    • Limited “grab & go” continental breakfast  available 7:30-9:00 am
    • Refrigerator use limited to items in sealed and marked plastic bags
    • Microwave, toaster, glassware, games and other previously shared amenities are not  available
    • Guest laundry is no longer available
  • Compliance
    • Guests should comply with all state and federal guidelines as posted.
    • It is our expectation that guests will comply out of mutual respect for their hosts and fellow travelers
    • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone unwilling to comply with our health and safety policies.
    • Travel is subject to any and all current guidelines set forth by the governor of WV
    • The Old Clark Inn is unable to accommodate anyone for self-isolation or quarantine
